A bizarre monument to Peter the Great, created by Mayor Luzhkov's favored architect, Zurab Tsereteli. Costing $11 million and considered to be the most tasteless monument in Moscow, Neo-Bolsheviks threatened to blow it up if Lenin's body was removed from Red Square. This monument is also ironic, considering Peter the Great despised Moscow.
