A view of Lubyanskaya Ploshchad. This was the former home of a 6 meter tall statue of Felix Dzerzhinsky, which was topppled in 1991 - a famous symbol of the end of Soviet communism. The statue now stands in the Statue Garden along with other Soviet statues. Sadly, Mayor Luzhkov has announced that he would like to move the statue back to Lubyanskaya Ploshchad.
