[...] Eventually I’ll sit down and write another long article regarding my trip to North Korea, but until then here is more footage of the Arirang Festival Mass Games taken from the North Korean Tourism DVD. The first minute is footage of our tour group watching the games, followed by seven minutes of clips from the actual games (which themselves run about 90 minutes). If you ever wanted to see what 100,000 North Koreans can do in the largest stadium in the world, here you go. This far surpasses the clips I previously posted. [...]

Yup, they only opened seating sections where you had a view of the entire show. This year's show ran from August to October and was performed six nights a week. Our guide told us that tickets for North Koreans cost 8 euros, which is a hell of a lot of money for them. And yes you could buy Coke and chips, etc from snack stands at the show.

That was insane and yet I have several questions. I noticed that the stadium was not full. Do they only allow people to sit in seats where the full spectacle can be seen? How many nights does this go on for? How much do tickets cost for the North Koreans? Were there Yankee Imperialist Foods for sale?
