    I live in “communist country”

Well, we are a red state:

Joe McCain, speaking at an event in support of his brother, called two Democratic-leaning areas in Northern Virginia “communist country,” according to a report on The Washington Post’s Web site.

“I’ve lived here for at least 10 years and before that about every third duty I was in either Arlington or Alexandria, up in communist country,” Joe McCain, a Navy veteran, said at an event in Loudoun County, Va.

Yeah, Arlington is totally communist. I mean, the Pentagon City Fashion Centre, that gigantic mall that I live across from, totally makes me think of Soviet-era GUM whenever I walk through it. The Pentagon? Yeah, that’s full of a bunch of communists, too. Our airport? Named after that great communist, Ronald Reagan. That high-rise Crystal City condominium that John McCain lives in? Surely it’s state owned, right?

    1. I live in fake Virginia But a lot of my tax dollars go to “real Virginia”. What’s up with that? Seems kinda communist, ya know. Spreading the wealth around and all. It’s like Barnes & Noble, but free I was walking around my neighborhood (Pentagon City, which is basically a few high rises and a gigantic mall) a few days ago and noticed a sign for the public library. Hmmm…a library. I remember going to those in college and grad school. Maybe I should check this one...
    3. The stars at night, are big and bright, deep in the heart of Texas I’m in San Antonio, Texas this week for a business conference. I found it highly amusing that in order to get here, I had to fly from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport to Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Now, if only San Antonio would name their airport after Bill...
    4. The quagga mussel invasion is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous communist plot we have ever had to face Via the LATimes: Local water authorities have begun closing some of the state’s prime fishing lakes in an effort to keep an infestation of tiny quagga mussels from fouling drinking water supplies for nearly 375,000 residents and threatening fish populations. And where did these invasive species come from? The...
    5. I’d rather live in a zombie infested London than Washington, DC I came to this realization while watching 28 Weeks Later, the much anticipated sequel to 28 Days Later. Unfortunately, my UK visa’s been expired for quite awhile. Dammit. 28 Weeks later is a rather mindless film filled with blood (lots and lots of blood), gore, suspense, and audience members...

    • Last night’s debate

So yeah, Obama totally won that debate last night. I say this mainly due to McCain telling the stupidest effing jokes ever, which is like an automatic fail in my book. Stick to your day job, old man. Anyways, I…
