Well, they did it. They went all the way. This is unbelievable. I still remember watching the first Angels game of the season on ESPN last March – a loss to Cleveland. And then the losses kept coming…6-14, the worst start in franchise history. Here we go again, another typical Angels season, I thought. I never dreamed that they would be crowned World Series champions in October. Baseball, ya gotta love it.

I think I’m going to go broke spending all my money on WS Champions stuff…ah, wonderful. Too bad this wonderful season had to end, but at least now I can get back to all that school work

Maybe I’ll write more about this…I’m just so happy right now but I have so much work to do. I can’t wait till opening day. (Oh my God I feel like a damn LiveJournal user!)

The Angels will be playing the San Francisco Giants in the Fall Classic, making it an all California, all wild card series. Personally I wanted the Cardinals to win the NLCS because a) they’ve had a rough year. b) I’d like to see Cardinals Jim Edmonds and Chuck Finley play their former teammates. c) I don’t like Barry Bonds.

It was annoying enough when Fox Sports West would cut away from the Angels games to show Barry Bonds batting, but now we’ll be treated to a Bonds love fest where the FOX sports announcers will gush over the smallest details of his life.

GO ANGELS! BEAT FRISCO!

The Anaheim Angels beat the Minnesota Twins to take the American League Pennant. For the first time in franchise history, the Angels will be playing in the World Series! CONGRATS ANGELS!!!

I think one of the most memorable moments of the 2002 post season was BEATING THE YANKEES! There are so many annoying Yankee fans here that it was sweet to see them bitch about their team. Of course, they always have the annoying reply “Well, we won 26 World Series titles, so haha.” Yeah, whatever…and you were there for all 26 of those wins, weren’t you? As if New York fans weren’t bad enough (and no offense to my comrades that are Mets fans – I don’t mean you) what is even more annoying are the Yanks fans that aren’t even from NY (and this is especially directed to all you bandwagoners wearing your NY caps at the Big A). Get some hometown pride, people! Don’t support the Yanks just because they are “winners”…support your home team!!!!

I bet George Steinbrenner will be looking for the perfect players to put in pinstripes. Attention George and annoying Yanks fans: You already have 26 WS rings…don’t be so greedy!! You are ruining the great game of baseball!
