The Angels Win the 2002 WORLD SERIES!
Well, they did it. They went all the way. This is unbelievable. I still remember watching the first Angels game of the season on ESPN last March – a loss to Cleveland. And then the losses kept coming…6-14, the worst start in franchise history. Here we go again, another typical Angels season, I thought. I never dreamed that they would be crowned World Series champions in October. Baseball, ya gotta love it.
I think I’m going to go broke spending all my money on WS Champions stuff…ah, wonderful. Too bad this wonderful season had to end, but at least now I can get back to all that school work
Maybe I’ll write more about this…I’m just so happy right now but I have so much work to do. I can’t wait till opening day. (Oh my God I feel like a damn LiveJournal user!)
“It’s designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything is new again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops, and leaves you to face the fall alone.” – A. Bartlett Giamatti, Commissioner of Baseball, 1989
